Moped delivery

Today I took delivery of some parts for my motobecane 40T. I bought a radiator, a water cooled cylinder, piston and head & finally a exhaust. These are all used parts and from a guy I found on ebay. They need a clean etc but these were all delivered for about £80/€100/$135 which I think is a great deal.

Peugeot 103 SP frame

Today when I got home I found that the 103 SP frame had arrived from Christophe at Tomahawk Tuning. I think I now have everything for my dual variated peugeot build.

Paioli rear shocks

Now that the 103 frame is on its way I thought I'd better find some rear shocks as with the new dual variated swing arm setup im going to need them. I had looked into getting gas adjustable shocks but there were tonnes of knock off versions and I didnt want to buy shocks purely on looks. I decided that because I had already upgraded to Paioli front forks I would look for the same make of rear shocks. I came across this set on ebay.
The latest on the frame is that ive paid the custom charge so I expect it will be delivered today or tomorrow.

Throttle cable guide

I ordered another one of these 90 degree cable guide things for my 17.5mm PHBG. when I removed the carb from the Vogue  it had snapped off. Will give the carb a good clean through before I install it again. Just waiting on this frame from tomahawk but apparently its cleared customs so may be here in the next few days.

Locked Up In The Lou

I just thought i would post this great video of a moped rally. For some reason i cant get the video to show up??

Vogue 103 frame swap

While working on this dual variated setup for my Vogue I had been in contact with Christophe of Tomahawk Tuning who has done this conversion before. It turns out he wanted my rigid frame for a race bike project. So he offered to send me a 103 sp frame which will accept the dual variated swing arm without any frame cutting.
Heres a shot he sent me of the frame before he shipped it. Just waiting for it to arrive.

Reversed seat

Thought I'd flip the seat today. Took it apart by uninstalling the front bolt which then enabled me to access the spring as it needed a few coils removing to get the desired height. Not actually sat on it yet as its on the bench at the moment. Going to be stiffer as there is less coils. I think it looks better a little further back.

Peugeot Vogue 70cc H2O Kit 2

Today I fitted the replacement rings to the piston and installed the new cylinder kit. I used some ultra blue silicone sealant aswell as the supplied rubber sealing ring. I just need to look up the torque settings for the cylinder head nuts.

Replacement rings & extended bolts

The replacement rings i ordered from 50cc.eu turned up today along with some extended bolts I need for the dual variated swing arm.
