Moped delivery

Today I took delivery of some parts for my motobecane 40T. I bought a radiator, a water cooled cylinder, piston and head & finally a exhaust. These are all used parts and from a guy I found on ebay. They need a clean etc but these were all delivered for about £80/€100/$135 which I think is a great deal.

 

 

 

Reversed seat

Thought I'd flip the seat today. Took it apart by uninstalling the front bolt which then enabled me to access the spring as it needed a few coils removing to get the desired height. Not actually sat on it yet as its on the bench at the moment. Going to be stiffer as there is less coils. I think it looks better a little further back.

Sinclairios Motobecane

Just in case you thought we had forgotten about Sinclairios Motobecane 40T.....
we haven't.
Hes buying up parts at the moment so we can do the whole build in one go.

Av10 arrived

Took delivery of a Av10 from France today, which was bought on French eBay. Pleased I've got it, by all accounts it's the one to have. Heard a lot of good stuff from watching tomohawk tuning post on YouTube. This is going to be a long project but it's a huge step in the right direction.

A new arrival! M.A.D gets a Motobecane

So today Mopeds at Dawn reached another milestone. We added a Motobecane to our collection of mopeds.
Here's some shots of it being unloaded this evening. I cant wait to have a proper look at it in daylight.
