Free wheel removed brake plate adapted

Today I took the rear wheel from my Peugeot to the local cycle shop and they removed the free wheel for me. So now I can flip it over and reinstall it so the freewheel will now operate correctly with the rear wheel back to front.
I also modified the rear brake plate by grinding it down to fit the little tab on the new swing arm.

Dual variated swingarm 3

I got a bit more done on the peugeot the other day. I removed the front end from the vogue frame and installed it on the 103sp frame. The vogue frame just needs to be packaged up and then I'll post it off to Tomahawk. I installed the centre stand and seat on 103sp frame so its all coming together. Next I think I will install the motor and radiator.

Rear axle adjusters

I had to buy new axle adjusters to fit the dual variated peugeot swing arm. It turns out I could use half of the original set up.

Dual variated swingarm 2

This evening was the first opportunity ive had to work on the bikes since I got back from holiday. I started by cleaning the frame that Tomahawk sent me. Next I installed the dual variated swing arm which bolted straight onto the 103sp frame. Then I fitted the paioli rear shocks that I found on french ebay. When I offered up the rear wheel I realised that the shocks are a bit on the long side. They will be ok for the minute as im not sure how much ground clearance I will need for the exhaust anyway. The rear mud guard will need new holes drilling as they dont match with the new frame but I probably wont install the mud guards until I have the bike up and running. The next thing to do is remove the complete front end from the vogue and install it on the 103 frame. Then I will be able to package up the vogue frame and ship it to Tomahawk.

Peugeot Simonini Circuit Exhaust

Finally after a 7 month wait my Simonini pipe finally arrived.  The company I ordered it from was rrd-preparation.com. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The reason I ordered from them over anyone else was that its based in france so I thought shipping would be quicker and cheaper. The website has an impressive looking parts list but half of it is out of stock. When I ordered the exhaust I didnt realise it was out of stock. I was told the expected delivery time was 3 weeks. After a while I asked for a refund but got no reply. 7 months for parts is no fun so be warned and don't order your parts from this site.
