Monday morning ride

Sinclairio and I both had the day off so we thought we would go for a ride this morning. He was on his Puch City and I took my Peugeot Vogue. We covered abouy 25 miles in total and visited both the south and north coasts. We stopped to pick up a pasty along the way and neither of as had any mechanical problems. I did find the peugeot was really lacking in low down power I think due to 17mm carb and pipe with a top end powerband. But all in all a great ride.

Peugeot Vogue mudguard bracket!

The old attachments for the front mudguard no longer fitted as the new forks are wider than the old ones. So i made up a new set of brackets with some metal i had. I used some rubber washers to mount the mudguard to hopefully cut down on vibration.

 

 

 

 

Vogue goes for MOT

I took the peugeot for MOT today. It went straight through. Here's a shot of it loading on the truck and also in the test bay.

Vogue tail light fixed

I had a bit of time this evening so i got the tail light working on the peugeot. I also offered up my fiberglass storage box to see how it looked. Things left to do before MOT are mount number plate and fit speedo.
